La Stina
Up-cycled jewellery collection (2020)
Live art, statement earrings
Decaying flowers, used contact lenses, needle and thread
La Stina came into existence through working with materials at hand during the pandemic whilst in quarantine. Believing in a circular economy, Lisa finds upcycling materials from the home a good way to contribute. The original pair of earrings were made with decaying flowers and used contact lenses, exhibiting past life and old views as a reminder of the progress still to be made. Lisa hopes that our collective consciousness and experiences throughout 2020 will bear fruitful new approaches towards a more sustainable future.
The jewellery is sewn on by hand
